St Teresa’s Hospice is an independent charity formed by and for the people of Darlington and the surrounding area, including South Durham and North Yorkshire.

We provide specialist palliative care to people with life-limiting conditions such as cancer, lung disease and heart failure, as well as care and support for people with neurological conditions like Parkinson’s disease, MS and MND.

We provide all our core services free of charge.

Palliative care aims to enhance every individual’s quality of life, promote personal choice and enable people to live as well as possible until the end of their life. Through a wide range of services, we work with people to help manage pain, fatigue and other symptoms. We also offer practical and emotional support to people and those close to them.
