This section is challenging and takes around 3 hours. We eventually reach the top of a high saddle before descending to the river valley of Wadi Feid following a small goat track. Here we reach the water stream of Wadi el Feid for a well-deserved opportunity to refresh and cool down in its cool water, a perfect place for lunch. We then walk upstream manoeuvring around a beautiful dense garden of oleander, willow, tamarisk and reed. Beyond this garden we walk along a dry river bed surrounded with colourful sandstone outcrops to reach our camping spot and find our crew waiting for us and have prepared a delicious dinner. Meals: BLD. Trekking approx 9.5km (6 miles) approx 6 to 7 hours. Elevation change approx 730m ascent, 260m descent.

The trail continues along the wadi floor and gently climbs up into the distinctive pale coloured sandstone hill that offers incredible views across the surrounding landscapes of mountains and canyons! After lunch we hit the trail again with a descent followed by a gentle uphill climb to reach a bare rock slab perfectly located to spend another magical night in the wild. Meals: BLD.
