The Zambezi Challenge
2nd -15th September 2011 £2150
Bespoke itineraries and dates are available on request - see below for more information
Experience the trip of a lifetime, as you join the 2011 trip to Zambia! Your first challenge is a canoeing safari down the Lower Zambezi river. Spend six days paddling downstream, in 2-man canoes, occasionally stopping to trek inland, and change the strain to your feet instead of arms!
Setting up camp each night on the riverbanks, and sleeping under the vast African skies each night, this is a great opportunity to spot game and experience natural Africa at it's best. We then return to Lusaka to spend a couple of days helping on a local project helping improve facilities for children who are HIV positive.
Finally head up to Livingstone, home of the mighty Victoria Falls where you can take part in a further challenge - white-water rafting or even a bungee jump! Alternatively, enjoy a view of the Falls from air on a helicopter ride or just take it easy on a relaxing sunset cruise
